The Caldervale line runs through the area with train stations at Halifax, Brighouse, Sowerby Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge, Walsden and Todmorden.
Trains run from Blackpool North to York via Hebden Bridge and Halifax and from Leeds via Bradford to Manchester Victoria via all stations. It is also possible to travel to Leeds via Dewsbury from Mytholmroyd and Sowerby Bridge.
A direct service operated by Grand Central runs from London to Halifax and Brighouse three times a day.
