Halifax Minster Summer Festival (27th June – 7th July)

History meets harmony in Halifax! Halifax Minster Summer Festival is  a collection of events taking place at Halifax Minster, featuring musical and theatre performances, community fairs, and even dance workshops!

Events include:

  • Fleetwood Mac – An Orchestral Tribute by Paradox Orchestra
  • Festival of Nasheeds – A celebration bringing together poetry and song from Islamic cultures, including renowned Nasheed artist Hussnain Hanif.
  • Shakespeare and All That Jazz by Halifax Choral Society

Hebden Bridge is bursting with creativity — and you’re invited inside!

Where? Artists’ studios across town

What? Watch artists at work, ask questions, and even take home a masterpiece! Perfect for art lovers, curious kids, and anyone who loves a sneak peek behind the curtain.

Heptonstall Festival (5th July)

HepFest = good vibes on a hilltop!

Don’s miss this atmospheric Music and Spoken Word Festival taking place across the stunning hill village of Heptonstall…from the cobbled charm of Weavers Square, to the historic Heptonstall Heritage Chapel  and the timeless beauty of St Thomas Church. HepFest brings together neighbours, artists, families, and friends for a day of live music, food, vibrant culture, and good old Yorkshire spirit.

Joy. Visibility. Celebration. Happy Valley Pride returns with a bang to the Calder Valley with a week of rainbow-coloured events for everyone!
