Our monthly jazz night & the only jazz night in Halifax, curated by Harry Stobart.
This Months jazz club sees the return of speaking evil. This time playing the music of the great Wayne shorter, focusing in on his sixth studio album. And third with his mid sixties quintet, ‘Speak No Evil.’ Expect explosive jazz paying homage to one of the greatest post bop bands there ever was. The second set will be a collection of original material by the band paying further respect to Wayne by taking compositional inspiration while adding in modern jazz components.
