Introduction to Indian Block Printing Workshop

Join us for a three-hour beginner’s workshop to explore Indian Block Printing.
You will be shown techniques and play with a range of different printing blocks and colours and try printing on a variety of materials. Start by experimenting with the products on scrap paper and fabric and as understanding of the products develop, and you are able to confidently print designs and patterns, you will then have the opportunity to work on a range of items to take home.
Materials provided include: practice fabric and paper, a cotton tote bag, cotton tea towel, greetings cards with envelopes, a large piece of paper to turn into gift wrap and some paper tags.
Additional items will be available to purchase on the day.
