History Wardrobe presents – Monday is Washday

To tie in with Bankfield Museum’s new exhibition: Opening the Wardrobe, the Museum is hosting four History Wardrobe evening presentations.
The second evening event is ‘Monday is Washday’, a hilarious new show featuring pinnies, poshers and washtubs galore, as the Two Lucys plunge into the suds and stains of historical laundry and discover how to get your toga, petticoats or collars white-than-white!
Accessibility Information:
- Disabled parking is to the rear of building with access via a ramp.
- All of the Ground Floor is wheelchair accessible (main areas and galleries of museum).
- Toilets, disabled toilet and baby change are all on ground floor.
- Large print labels are available for exhibitions. and Handling Boxes are available for visually impaired visitors .
