10.30am- 3pm
Halifax Antiquarian Society’s Library will be open for any Anne Lister or other fans who wish to visit (maximum 15 in room at a time).
Halifax Antiquarian Society is the senior local history group in Calderdale. Founded in 1900, its first President was John Lister of Shibden Hall.
Our published articles about the area’s history are invaluable as a research resource.
Librarian Mike Brook and assistant Janet Ashton will be on duty to chat about the Society and explain how to become a member.
The Library is situated on the second floor of Halifax Central Library, Square Road, accessed through signed double doors.
