Come along to witness Yorkshire’s premiere of the amazing new film Lesvia! This film chronicles 40+ years of lesbian identity and conflict in the small farming village of Eressos on the island of Lesvos, and the pilgrimages to the beach resort of Skala Eressos where lesbians from around the world have been gathering since the late 1970s.
After the showing the director of Hebden Bridge Film Festival Louise Wadley will be chatting with the director of Lesvia, who will be joining us for the event from Skala Eressos itself.
