Accessible Calderdale – Disabled Public Toilets

Calderdale’s public toilets have facilities for people with accessibility needs. In the majority of cases you will need a RADAR key to access the facilities, which can be obtained from the Age UK in the Woolshops Shopping Centre, Halifax,  if you show proof of disability, such as a blue badge or a letter from your doctor.

Disabled Public Toilets in Halifax

Halifax Bus Station, Winding Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 1UU

1 disabled toilet and 1 Changing Places Toilet with RADAR key access.

 

Halifax Borough Market exterior, on Albion Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 1DZ.

1 disabled toilet with RADAR key access. NB please note that the toilet is not located inside the Market, but on its exterior on Albion Street. The Toilet is closed overnight from 6pm.

 

The Piece Hall, Blackledge, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 1RE.

3 disabled toilets, 1 in the north west corner and 2 in the north east corner. These toilets do not require a RADAR key. NB please note that the Piece Hall is open from 7am til late. On selected days throughout the year The Piece Hall will close early for ticketed events, please check their website in advance.
