Join Milliner Sherry Richardson to explore the Art of Millinery and the inspiration around our everyday lives when creating headwear. Sherry’s Millinery journey starts from the point of being “hooked” to create hats, to delivering headpieces for the catwalk.
There will be plenty of headwear on show to see, with time for questions at the end. You can take a personal tour around the Hat for all Seasons exhibition with Bankfield Museum Curator Eli Dawson.
Accessibility Information:
- Disabled parking is to the rear of building with access via a ramp.
- All of the Ground Floor is wheelchair accessible (main areas and galleries of museum).
- Toilets, disabled toilet and baby change are all on ground floor.
- Large print labels are available for exhibitions. and Handling Boxes are available for visually impaired visitors .
