The Story of the Wainstall Waifs

Event description
13th January to 6th April 2024.
Our brand new exhibition opens in the museum on Saturday 13th January 2024. It is titled “The Story of the Wainstall Waifs – how the ragged strands of 200 young lives were woven into the fabric of a village”. Entry to the exhibition is included in the admission charge to the museum.
Calderdale Industrial Museum is Open Saturdays 10am – 4pm and also Thursdays in the School Holidays
Entrance fee: £5 per adult. Concessions £4. accompanied children enter free. We also offer an Annual Pass for £12 per adult that gives unlimited admission to the museum for 12 months.
Accessibility Information;
- Access is to the side of the Museum via our newly-installed ramp and stairs.
- Internally there are stairs and a lift to all floors.
- Disabled Parking is available by prior request.
