Our monthly jazz night & the only jazz night in Halifax, curated by Harry Stobart.
Issey Chivers is one of the most exciting new vocal acts to hit the UK jazz scene in recent years. Her beautiful music takes plenty of influence from the greats of the 20th century while blending both modern jazz and folk seamlessly into her performances. Her quartet, who all hail from the Leeds conservatoire, on this occasion will be playing a mixture of her own compositions and some of their favourite tunes. This one is not a night to be missed.
