From 7am
Join us as we connect tracks and green lanes that radiate from Halifax out into the Calder, Colne, Hebble, Holme, Ryburn and Wesseneden Valleys. This one day event is suitable for your gravel bike.
Cycle Gear in Halifax open their doors at 7am with tea, coffee and home-made cakes to help you get started. No mass start. Riders depart when they’re ready anytime between 7am – 11am.
After your ride there’s the bonus of a bar by VOCATION and burgers by Freddie Fowler. Secure lock up in the garage below the shop before and after your ride.
Four routes on offer (you receive all four gpx routes and choose which best suits you / swap between them).
– 24km / 440 meters of climbing – Hebble Valley
– 40km / 730 meters of climbing – Ryburn Valley
– 66km / 1,400 meters of climbing – Colne Valley
– 107km / 2,100 meters of climbing – 5 Valleys

The event hub is at Cycle Gear on Horton Street in Halifax, West Yorkshire
Secure bike parking in the lock up below the shop whilst you register and after the ride (bike attendant)

Routes
Each route starts by riding onto the traffic free Hebble Trail
It is a self-guided ride with no way markings saying ‘Mills n Moors route’
You will receive all four gpx route files in the week leading up to the event
Its your choice which route to ride as any type of bike is fine on each route – gravel bike, e-bike, mtb.
Minimum age of 12 years old when accompanied by a parent / guardian
On the day
From 7am enjoy a tea / coffee / home made cakes inside Cycle Gear before your ride
Toilet facilities
Head off when you’re ready as there is no ‘mass start’
