Great beer. Great food. Great company.
The Navigation sits in the quiet outskirts of the town of Sowerby Bridge, with views to the surrounding hills and the banks of the Calder & Hebble Navigation from attractive beer gardens which offer all day sunshine. The canal tow path runs to the side of the pub and there is a mooring for boats only one minute away. On site car parking is available.
Access is via Chapel Lane, a narrow road that descends from the junction of the A58 and A6026. It can also be reached on foot by walking eastwards along the canal from the Sowerby Bridge canal basin. To get to the pub from the railway station, turn right at the bottom of the station steps and take the first left to the bridge over the river.
The Navigation Inn is Grade II listed. Dating back to the 15th century, it was the site of the local Moot Hall.
