Orchestra of Square Chapel present “Mozart on Tour – Prague” at St John the Divine, Rastrick, Brighouse HD6 1HN on Sunday March 30th at 3pm. Tickets from https://tickets.orchestraofsquarechapel.net/ or on the door.
Mozart spent a fair proportion of his life touring – playing to dukes and emperors around Europe. Orchestra of Square Chapel’s season features three major cities on his musical journey. Mozart’s visit to Prague in 1787 was highly successful and he received a huge amount of recognition both as a composer and as a performer. The “Prague” symphony was given its first performance during this stay.
