Calderdale Open Art Exhibition 2025

Event description
The Calderdale Open Art Competition is returning in 2025.
This competition is open to all amateur and professional artists who are invited to submit original artwork in any 2D format (e.g. paintings, drawings, photography, textiles). Successful entries will be displayed for a 5 month exhibition at Smith Art Gallery, Brighouse opening on Saturday 5th July 2025.
There will be prizes awarded to the top three works as chosen by a panel of judges, including a 1st prize of £250. There is an additional £100 People’s Prize voted for by visitors to the exhibition which will be announced when the exhibition closes.
The theme of this year’s competition is nature.
