Are you new to Halifax or a local resident who fancies taking a trip down memory lane? All are welcome to explore the history of Halifax on one of Halifax Heritage’s popular tours.
Come for a walk with a local guide, pointing out buildings and places previously unknown to you and hearing interesting details from the Medieval, Georgian and Victorian eras through to more modern times! Learn about the philanthropists and industrialists who shaped the heritage of Halifax through generations and encounter some of the listed buildings, including the Town Hall and the Piece Hall, which they left as their legacy.
